How the Kiwi Anchor Rider works

The Kiwi Anchor Rider is a concentrated, heavy weight that is simply twisted on after you have anchored securely, to change the angle of pull on the anchor, to help it dig in.

It almost DOUBLES the holding power and reduces the anchor's working load by 50%. The forces on the boat have to overcome and lift the weight, before exerting any pressure on the anchor.

It is much more effective than letting out even more rope or chain when it blows.

"When scuba diving in foul ground we let a generous amount of chain out, deploy our Kiwi Anchor Rider and dive down the anchor chain to check the holding power. Our observation in a variety of sea conditions is we have observed NO WEIGHT AT ALL PULLING ON OUR DELTA ANCHOR. With the motion of the boat having to contend with the anchor weight and chain, we have never witnessed our Delta anchor working"
