Propeller Service and Repair

AB Marine has full in house Service and Repair for all propellers: GORI, Variprop and Variprofile and Autoprop.

Basic Service includes dismantle, open, inspect, clean, mic the internals*, report findings, polish, check backlash, reassemble with new fasteners, regrease and supply anodes as necessary.

*Using a micrometer, we measure the internal parts for wear, including blade pin diameter, blade root, shims.

To start the work the charge is $300.00.

For parts and replacement of shims:

SPW’s SoftStop Brake Ring, repitch, rebuild including the pitch stops, or any other work that is needed, the charge is additional (after $300), and we obtain your permission before proceeding with the repairs.

Paint removal and hazardous waste disposal – $35.00.

Prop pullers for propeller makes and sizes in stock.

Your approval is required to initiate the repairs.  Please provide your full credit card info (Visa or MasterCard), including card #, expiry date, name on the card, card bill to address with zip/postal code and the 3 digit security verification # from the back of the card.
